In today’s blog post you can enjoy two variations of freestyle ikebana in 1 vase. For the first one, I used eucalyptus, a rose, and chrysanthemum. This arrangement has movement and joy.
Besides, in the video, you can see how I make the second one with cotton stems, willow catkin, and light purple roses. The roses are like loose powder, that’s why the title of this arrangement is ‘Loose Flower Powder’.
Flower arranging secrets in this ikebana tutorial
The willow catkins are easy to bow. It’s a flexible material. By bowing you can make gracious shapes in of the branches. The cotton boll stems are dry materials. They combine beautifully with the willow.
